Our Story Begins with a Simple Belief

Some people call it a philosophy. I call it basic good manners.

Whether it’s a room you’ve just decorated, a conversation you’ve had, a dinner party you’ve enjoyed or yes, the planet we all share… Better Matters.

I’m Daniel Penciner, CEO and Design Director of Ocean Fine Bedding. I’ve always believed design should improve your life, not just decorate it. And somewhere between my Interior Design career and my love for the ocean, a wild idea struck me:
What if I could create a product that made the world better… without ever leaving the place I love most…….my bed?

That spark became Ocean Fine Bedding.

The Problem: Our Oceans Are Drowning in Plastic

Every year, billions of plastic bottles end up in waterways, beaches, and oceans. They break down into microplastics, harm marine life, and eventually enter our food chain.
